Public Sculptures

My current work focuses on bodies as ‘vessels that breathe’. The malleability of clay allows me to capture the movement and energy of living forms, and hand-building techniques bring imprecision to my organic forms. The act of repetition is essential, it balances my intent against technique, and gives room for an egoless expression of form. I finish my pieces with colors and textures that maintain a connection to the places I am rooted to.
